About us

Patanjali Yogpeeth in Nepal, Kathmandu, is one of the largest yoga institutes in India. Named after the guru Patanjali, the institute is Ramdev flagship project. Its purpose is to practise and research and develop yoga and ayurveda, as well as manufacture ayurvedic medicines. It is also the home of the University of Patanjali. Acharya Balkrishna is the General Secretary of Patanjali Yogpeeth Nepal.
PYP (Nepal) Trust is inspired by Swami Ramdev Maharaj, the world's leading, most popular, successful results-oriented yog master. He has become a household name in India owing to his ability to simplify yog techniques for the masses and validate the benefits of yog and pranayam [a series of breathing techniques] combined with asans [postures] that are part of the ancient Indian Vedic sciences.

How will this project solve this problem?

All donations to this fund will support earthquake recovery and relief efforts in Nepal.There has been made provision of free shelter, food, supervision for earthquake victims who currently got discharged from hospital and have lost their family members/ shelter to live.
