Nepal Earthquake Appeal

As Nepal grapples with one of the worst natural disasters in its history and as the magnitude of tragedy continues to unfold, His Holiness Swami Ramdev Ji and His Holiness Acharya Balkrishna Ji have issued an urgent appeal to the public for generous donations to support the victims who have suffered extensive devastation. Patanjali Yog Peeth Haridwar, India has taken an initiative of sending relief materials to all the people who are stranded without food, water and shelter.

Help and Support

When Swami Ji discovered that the people were using mate for shelter, he gladly ordered to serve the public by providing that mate of all the tent for the public. He donated all that mate to the people. This was an excellent example of Patanjali’s first service after devastation, the tent which was nearly 40 to50 Lakhs worth, before the natural disaster, it had been laid to make life healthy, and same was now the stuff of the camp for the tragedy of nature survival being and became a boon of survival.

Relief of Electricity

In the evening our hundreds of volunteers visited many places in Kathmandu, and made arrangements for the distribution of water, beaten paddy (Chiwda),potato curry, fruits and Patanjali biscuits. With the efforts of Patanjali, even in that terrible tragedy thousands of people were able to find a shelter, electricity arranged with generator and at once hundreds of people were able to charge their mobiles and they were also getting water and eatables in a comfortable and short span of time in very first day of horror tragedy.

Relief of Foods

A thought of immediate relief came to our mind that food items, fruits, biscuits and water bottles should be availed from Kathmandu. From the Patanjali Ayurveda center of Nepal, Raju Ji and BabuKazi provided 300-400 cartons of biscuits. Uddhav Ji also reached with 200-300 apple boxes. Om Bansal Ji and Vinod Ji were also ready to serve with 200-300 sacks of beaten paddy (Chiwda). With 200-400 boxes of water bottles, Shaligram Ji, Upendra Ji, Labdev Ji, Sister Archana & Rita and others were also engaged in relief activities.
